Genting Malaysia Berhad has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with AGIBOT Innovation to develop and commercialize robotics solutions for the hospitality, entertainment, and leisure sectors. The collaboration will focus on theme parks, leisure & hospitality, and entertainment, with applications including humanoid robots for guest interaction and robotics integration in live shows. Genting Malaysia will acquire AGIBOT robots to support pilot programs and operational integration across its properties. Aaron Chia Khong Chid, Chief Operating Officer of Resorts World Genting, stated that innovation is central to the company’s approach to shaping the future of hospitality and entertainment, and that they are exploring new ways to deliver immersive experiences.
