Original Chicken Ranch Casino building will close for remodel. For how long?
Summary
Chicken Ranch Casino Resort in Tuolumne County will be undergoing a full remodel of its original building, nicknamed “The OG,” to update the space and add more games. The building will close at 2 a.m. on January 5th and is expected to reopen in the spring. Following a partial reopening in August 2024 after the debut of the new resort, gaming occupancy was reduced. The remodeled “OG” will feature an enhanced gaming floor with additional machines like Wheel of Fortune Cash of Reels, Lucky Lemmings Stampede, and 5x3x2x Red Hot Tamales, as well as sixteen electronic table games. The property will remain 18-and-older and allow smoking, but will not serve alcohol. The bingo hall will remain open throughout the remodel.
