Liz McCrary, Boyd Gaming’s longest-standing employee, celebrated her work anniversary while opening the new casino after previously opening and closing Jokers Wild. The opening is part of a larger revitalization effort for Boulder Highway, including the Reimagine Boulder Highway Project, which aims to improve infrastructure with new bus lanes, streetlights, and storm drains. Cadence Crossing currently features 450 slot machines – 300 new and 150 transferred from Jokers Wild – and electronic table games, with the possibility of adding traditional table games in the future. The casino also offers affordable dining options and has already proven popular with locals.
