Passport Technology is showcasing OmniStream, a self-service kiosk that consolidates multiple casino cash transactions into a single machine, at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. Patrons can redeem tickets, withdraw cash, break bills, obtain cash advances, and purchase ticket-in, ticket-out vouchers without visiting the casino cashier's cage, as reported by CDC Gaming. The kiosk features two 27-inch displays for promotions and loyalty messaging, offers check warranty services, and allows operators to configure the mix of bills dispensed. With six cash cassettes holding up to 18,000 notes combined, operators can vary transaction pricing by player tier, time, or event, while the Points2Pay feature lets guests pay transaction fees with loyalty points. OmniStream runs on Passport's DataStream transaction processing system, and CEO Chad Boynak noted that customer feedback helped shape the product during the company's year of investment in new offerings.
