Since 2021, Ilitch Gaming has worked with the resort's management to implement operational improvements and investments focused on the guest experience. John Policicchio, CEO of Ilitch Gaming, noted that the acquisition is a significant milestone in the important Atlantic City market.
The resort features extensive amenities, including 1,860 hotel rooms, a large casino floor, and various dining and entertainment venues. Ilitch Gaming, led by chairperson Chris Ilitch, also manages MotorCity Casino Hotel and is currently pursuing the acquisition of Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort in Mississippi.
