Hyderabad police arrested a suspect named Gauresh in Goa after tracing him from a burglary at a prominent liquor businessman's home in Banjara Hills. Ten tolas of gold were stolen, and the police used CCTV footage and monitored known offenders, identifying Gauresh by a distinctive eyebrow scar. He had previously been implicated in a theft in Madhapur. Gauresh, who admitted to stealing for quick money to fund a lavish lifestyle, had sold some stolen gold and fled to Goa, where he was caught gambling at a casino. Police recovered the remaining gold and cash from him. He has been brought back to Hyderabad for further investigation into other possible thefts.
