Pascua Yaqui Tribe to open new casino in Tucson

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe plans to open Casino Del Sol Vahi Taa’am at 1055 W. Grant Road near Interstate 10 in Tucson on Nov. 15, 2026. The 163,000-square-foot casino will include a roughly 52,000-square-foot gaming floor, a parking garage, more than 900 slot machines, high-limit games, a sports betting lounge, and multiple food and beverage options. The site previously operated as Tucson-area movie theaters beginning in the 1970s, later becoming Century 12 and Century 16 before closing in 2011 after the tribe purchased it.
