From Casino Rubble to Sports Hub: Hylo Park Transforms North Las Vegas Corner
Summary
Hylo Park, a 73-acre redevelopment project led by Agora Realty, is revitalizing a previously barren area in North Las Vegas where the Fiesta Rancho and Texas Station casinos once stood. The project aims to integrate retail, housing, and a sports-centric campus, with approximately 37 acres dedicated to housing and 11 acres to commercial space. Phase one focuses on a commercial lifestyle center with a grocery store and restaurants, including a planned In-N-Out location, while phase two will introduce multipurpose sports venues designed to attract tournaments and visitors. Agora has sold 36 acres to Lennar for the construction of 393 single-family homes. The northern portion of the site is envisioned as a sports village with a 158,000-square-foot multisport facility, outdoor fields, and a sports-education center. Full buildout is expected around 2027, representing a $380 million investment and promising new jobs and increased foot traffic for the area, aligning with Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown’s strategy for neighborhood development.
