Bloomberry Resorts Corp. has completed the sale of its loss-making casino operations in Jeju Island, South Korea, to Gangwon Blue Mountain Co. Ltd. (now Blue One Ltd.) for 7 billion Korean won, with a remaining 3 billion won to be settled by February 27, 2027. The demerger, involving the gaming license and operations of Jeju Sun, was completed through a new company, Heaven Co. Ltd. While Bloomberry has exited the casino business on Jeju Island, it will retain ownership of the real estate, including leased gaming areas, and continue operating hotel and food-and-beverage outlets on the property. This move marks Bloomberry’s exit from its overseas gaming ventures.
