Hollywood Casino Joliet has announced Project Fire Buddies as the winner of its Gala Giveaway. The Illinois-based organization, which supports critically ill children and their families through fire department visits and support, will receive an event valued at $60,000 at the casino’s new 10,000 square foot event center. Founded in 2016, Project Fire Buddies has grown to 14 states and raised over $4 million, benefiting more than 750 children with the help of over 1,200 volunteers. The event package includes food, beverages, A/V production, event staffing, and 40 hours of volunteer support from Hollywood Casino Joliet team members.
